Improve your skin health and reveal gorgeous glowing skin with the patented Hydrafacial treatment!
If you are one of the 75% of adults who suffer from skin concerns such as dull, dry skin, acne, pigmentation or fine lines and wrinkles, a Hydrafacial is a perfect solution. Regular beauty facials can help to address these types of skin concerns, but the effect of treatment is usually temporary, unlike Hydrafacial which uses bespoke serums and specialised technology.
ERA Skin & Laser Clinic are one of the leading Hydrafacial clinics in Oxfordshire, serving Thame, Aylesbury, Oxford and beyond, having carried out hundreds of Hydrafacial treatments.
Hydrafacial focuses on the unique philosophy of ‘Skin Health for Life’. You will notice results from just a single treatment, but regular treatments are recommended to keep your skin in the best shape all year round and to help keep the signs of ageing like fine lines and wrinkles and at bay.
Hydrafacial uses advanced, patented vortex technology to deeply cleanse the skin and effectively deliver botanical ingredients containing nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, horse chestnut seed extract, red algae extract, copper, zinc, and magnesium peptides to where they have the most beneficial effect.
If you are looking for healthy skin and a glowing complexion do not settle for an ordinary facial, choose a Hydrafacial!
What are the benefits of Hydrafacial?
Recommended No. Of Treatments
What areas of the skin can be treated?
A Hydrafacial actively improves your skin health through its patented exfoliation system and antioxidant packed serums used to hydrate your skin.
Your Hydrafacialist will be able to advise you on the best options for your skin before your treatment starts.
Hydrafacials are beneficial for acneic or acne-prone skin because they remove congestion from the pores which causes inflammation and breakouts. Regular Hydrafacials have been proven to improve acneic skin.
Hydrafacial provides a deep exfoliation which can help to reduce or remove milia.
Will I need a consultation for Hydrafacial?
Before any treatment can take place, you will have an initial consultation to discuss your skin concerns and ensure that you are suitable for treatment. Your therapist will explain each stage of the Hydrafacial so you know what to expect during your treatment.
What Hydrafacial treatment packages are available?
Add A Booster
Booster vials are applied after the peel stage to further improve your skin health. These specialist treatments have been formulated to target common skin concerns.
Boosters are included with Hydrafacial Deluxe Plus & Platinum Treatments and available as an add on treatment to all other Hydrafacials.
Add a Lip or Eye Perk
PERK Treatments are applied by your therapist. Around a third of the product is used during your treatment and you will receive the remainder in a handy rollerball to take away with you to continue to use at home.
Perk Lip Treatment gives smooth and perfectly primed lips with key ingredients such as peppermint oil and peony extract to plump your pout.
Perk Eye treatment awakens the delicate eye area with energising green tea extract and citric acid, a natural skin brightener.
Eye or Lip Perks are included with Deluxe Plus and Platinum Hydrafacials
How many treatment sessions are recommended?
Everyone is different. If you have a one-off event to attend, you will see a benefit from one treatment. Most of our clients choose a monthly treatment as regular treatments help to stimulate collagen production and improve skin tone and texture.
We recommend having a Hydrafacial 48 hours before a special event. If you have regular Hydrafacials, you will know how your skin usually reacts and may prefer to have one 24 hours beforehand.
If you are looking to book a Hydrafacial for an upcoming event and have not had one previously, you might like to book a free online skin consultation with one of our Hydrafacialists.
Is Hydrafacial treatment safe?
Millions of Hydrafacials have been carried out globally making it one of the safest medical facial treatments around.
What conditions are contraindicated for Hydrafacials?
Hydrafacial allergens are listed as honey and shellfish which are contained in some of the serums used and should be avoided by those with known allergies.
Hydrafacial is not recommended if you are pregnant.
Is there downtime after a Hydrafacial?
Everyone is different, if your skin is sensitive, there may be some redness because of the exfoliation, but this is temporary and will resolve after a couple of hours. You will receive aftercare advice following your Hydrafacial treatment to explain how to get the best results from the treatment.
What are the possible side effects from Hydrafacial?
As with any facial treatment, you may experience breakouts following your Hydrafacial treatment, these will be temporary and are because of opening your pores to remove surface debris. Hydrafacials remove pore clogging dead skin cells which contribute to acneic skin, they do not cause acne.
When will I see results?
Immediately, your skin will look and feel more hydrated with a radiant glow. It will feel smoother too. Results continue to improve up to a week.
How long does a Hydrafacial treatment last?
This varies per individual, based on age, lifestyle, and skin condition. Initial results from the hydrating effect from a Hydrafacial last up to 1 week, making it perfect ahead of a special event. Your skin should feel better for approximately 4 weeks.
However, by employing this treatment as part of an ongoing skin health programme, you can significantly prolong these effects and enjoy further natural improvements to your skin over time, which is why many of our clients come back for a treatment every 1-2 months.
