Hydrafacial Keravive cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates the scalp and hair follicles. The treatment removes dirt, oil, flakes, dead skin cells and impurities from the surface of the scalp and from the hair follicles, whilst stimulating scalp circulation. Keravive infuses the scalp with growth factors and skin proteins designed to nourish and stimulate the scalp and hair follicles. The ingredients are not derived from or tested on animals.

What areas can be treated?
Hydrafacial Keravive is a unique, relaxing treatment designed to cleanse, stimulate, nourish, and hydrate the scalp for fuller and healthier–looking hair.
Hydrafacial Keravive is indicated for people who are suffering from scalp flaking, itchiness, dryness, or irritation. It also benefits people who are experiencing hair thinning or loss due to hormonal, environmental, or physiological factors such as stress. Similarly, it is beneficial for those preparing for a hair transplant or undergoing hair loss treatments such as Regaine (Minoxidil), PRP, or laser therapy.
There are no known interactions with any topical medications such as Minoxidil (Regaine) or non–medical topical treatments. The Hydrafacial Keravive treatment should improve scalp health and help facilitate the delivery of such topicals.
The treatment is safe for clients with seborrheic dermatitis and clients may find that the Hydrafacial Keravive scalp treatment will help minimise scalp flaking.
Will I need a consultation for Hydrafacial Keravive treatment?
If you are interested in improving the overall health of your scalp and hair, and/or seek treatment for hair thinning or hair loss, you could benefit from a Hydrafacial Keravive Scalp Health treatment.
At ERA Skin & Laser Clinic in Oxfordshire, we offer free, no obligation consultations and always honest advice about what results you can expect from this amazing treatment.
What can I expect during treatment?
You should arrive with clean, dry hair. Your therapist will discuss your areas of concern: product build-up, hair thinning, scalp dryness, flaking or irritation.
You will lay on the treatment bed with your head on a pillow and the treatment takes place by parting the hair and working in small sections, finishing with a scalp massage.
How long does Hydrafacial Keravive take?
The full treatment will take about 30 minutes.
How many treatment sessions are recommended?
One Hydrafacial Keravive treatment per month for three consecutive months is recommended, alongside continued use of the take-home spray in between treatments and for 3 months after your final treatment. You can then have maintenance treatments every 3-6 months to maintain good scalp health.
What conditions are contraindicated for Hydrafacial Keravive?
It is best to consult your general practitioner (GP) before starting a Hydrafacial Keravive treatment if you have been previously diagnosed with skin cancer or pre-cancerous skin lesions on your scalp. This treatment has not been studied in clients who have been diagnosed with, or recovered from, skin cancer on the scalp.
This treatment has also not been studied on pregnant or nursing women, so it is not recommended.
The Hydrafacial Keravive treatment and take–home spray can be used on clients with bonded or taped–in hair extensions. We advise that when using the take–home spray, you spray directly on the scalp and not on the hair or extensions.
Clients with colour–treated hair can receive the Hydrafacial Keravive treatment and use the take–home spray without affecting the colour and dyes.
If using the Hydrafacial Keravive take-home spray with other topical medications or treatments, you should first use the Hydrafacial Keravive spray, then follow with the other topical product.
Is there downtime after a Hydrafacial Keravive treatment?
After your treatment your hair will be damp at the scalp, and you should allow it to fully air dry before applying heat or styling products.
When will I see results?
Results vary by individual based on age, lifestyle, underlying medical conditions and your scalp health and hair concerns.
Clinical studies have shown that after a single treatment, patients reported improvement in scalp itchiness, scalp dryness, scalp flakiness and hair fullness. Following the full course of treatments, 75% of patients reported improvement in hair fullness, 72% reported improvement in overall hair appearance, and 64% said they felt more confident as a result.
How long does a Hydrafacial Keravive last?
Maintenance treatments every 3-6 months are recommended to maintain good scalp health.
