Do you dream of living a hair-free life?

No more shaving, waxing or plucking!

What is it and how does it work?

Laser hair removal is cosmetic procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. The laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which affects the hair follicles that produce hairs. This stops or delays future hair growth. Hair grows in three phases, so to ensure all hair is targeted multiple treatments are always required.

Am I suitable for laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal is most effective for people who have light skin and dark hair.

Common treatment locations include legs, underarms, upper lip, chin and the bikini line. However, it’s possible to treat unwanted hair in nearly any area. Risks of side effects vary depending on your skin type, hair colour, treatment plan and adherence to pre-treatment and post-treatment care. The most common side effects of laser hair removal include skin irritation and pigment changes which are usually temporary.

What happens next?

If you want to start living a hair-free life, the first step is to book a patch test consultation with our laser therapist prior to treatment so we can assess your skin and hair type. During the consultation we will take your medical history and details of any past hair removal procedures. We will also discuss the risks, benefits and expectations

If you’re happy to go ahead, we will agree a treatment plan and take before-and-after photographs for assessment and review at your future treatment sessions.

Book your patch test today. Call the clinic on 01844 698441 or book online at www.eraclinics.co.uk
